Manchester United defeated 10-man Norwich 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, opened scoring for United early in the second half.

Norwich defender, Timm Klose, was sent off for pulling down Ighalo on the edge of the box in the 89th minute.

Thereafter, Harry Maguire bundled home from close range late in extra time to give the Old Trafford giants a deserved victory

In addition, United manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, has described Ighalo as a player with the eye on the ball following his brilliant outing.

“He’s got one eye on the ball and probably one eye on is the keeper [Tim Krul] coming to smash him and is the defender coming to smash him, so well done. He was involved with the second goal as well and that was great reactions by Harry”.

The win extends United’s unbeaten run in all competitions to 14 matches and secures a 30th appearance in the last four of the FA Cup for the club.
