MLS: Akinola Strikes Twice To Help Toronto Beat D.C. United

Nigerian-born forward, Ayo Akinola ,who plays for Toronto FC in the Major League Soccer in the United States scored a brace for his side against D.C. United at the weekend, in their first game of the MLS is Back Tournament decided at the ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex.

Akinola gave the coach Greg Vanney’s side the lead in the first half, before DC United equalized in the last 45 minutes despite having one of their players sent off.

The Nigerian prospect shook the net in the 11th minute before adding the second on 44th as Toronto held on to 2-2 draw.
