In the aftermath of the Anambra State FA elections, top Chairmanship candidate, Chikelue “The General” Iloenyosi, has appealed to his fans and supporters within and outside the state to remain calm by waiting for the final outcome of the disputed and controversial elections which took place last weekend.

In an audio message sent to Sports Yarn Class (SYC) on Wednesday, the former Nigerian international hinted that with the elections now over, his desire is to ensure that anomalies witnessed in the process is addressed and corrected.

“I want to tell tell my fans and everybody to be calm and be happy”. “We must get what belongs to our mandate by the special grace of God. May God bless you all”.

“Now, the elections have passed and the most important thing now is the procedures of the elections and appeals”

“What belongs to us shall come back to us, one love”, said Iloenyosi.

According to Iloenyosi,
the next step towards resolving the protracted elections is his desire to approach the appeals committee to contest the decision of the electoral committee to deny him the chance of clinching the position after entering the race as the sole candidate with the disqualification of his presumed opponent, Emeka Okeke, from the race for not meeting the criteria approved for the elections.

The appeals committee is expected to hold its sitting before the end of the week.
