Top South African Business Woman, Babsi Mcinga, Named TWOW’s Country Director

A top South African businesswoman, Nolubabalo Babsi Mcinga, has been appointed as Country Director for Timeless Women of Wonder Africa (TWOW).

Mcinga, takes over from her predecessor, Lizelle Maurice, who until now was South Africa’s Country Director since 2019.

The appointment which took effect from May 5, 2021, gives Mcinga the responsibility to continue to reposition TWOW’s developmental strategies.

This involves the vision to empower South African women, youths and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to enhance and raise their incomes that will help to positively impact on their communities, institutions and the country at large.

In a chat with Sports Arena after bagging the prestigious position, Mcinga said she was honoured to be chosen for such enviable role.

She disclosed that TWOW have laid down plans that will boost Africa’s economic transformation which she is determined to facilitate by creating opportunities to improve and develop African women.

“I appreciate the Board for finding it worthy to choose me for this great task which is a tool to transform womanhood”.

“My vision will articulate the development of Africa through the empowerment of women, and by God’s grace I shall deliver prosperity for Africa”.

Mcinga added, “My position as country director would raise a platform that will bring together African women from all sectors to participate in the development of solutions.

She used the opportunity to express her desire to leave a legacy by helping to raise the development of sports through the discovery and empowerment of young and talented sports women in the continent.

“Africa boosts of talented sports women. This is one area I intend to spread  TWOW’s ideals and innovations by assisting young girls who are talented in sports to excel”.

“In Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and other parts of Africa, we have a lot of young girls or women who need encouragement to achieve their career goals”. “Ofcourse, this is one strategic area I hope to attend to, in order to give life more meaning”, Mcinga stated

As part of her numerous developmental roles in the society as a philanthropist, Mcinga is also the Chief Executive Officer of M&C Business Solutions and a strategic partner of Alatagold in Ghana.
