Two Ministers, FIFA, CAF Presidents, To Grace Aisha Buhari Tournament’s Opening Ceremony

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare and Women Affairs Minister, Pauline Tallen, will lead a retinue of high profile guests that include the Presidents of World soccer governing body (FIFA), Gianni Infantino and Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, to Lagos for the opening ceremony of the first edition of the Aisha Buhari Invitational Tournament kicking off on Wednesday.

Host Nigeria and five other nations – Morocco, South Africa, Mali, Cameroon and Ghana will be part of the week long competition which is now a FIFA ranking tournament.

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, is the Chief Host of the historic competition now set to kick off after the arrival of all the participating teams.

The opening match of the competition will be between the Super Falcons of Nigeria and the Black Eagles of Mali.
