Coach Abdul Maikaba, was reported to have signed a contract to take over the coaching job at Rangers International FC of Enugu at the weekend.

Some of the personalities that were present at the contract signing ceremony include Mr. Chidi Aroh (in red), Steve Orurua (in black), Commissioner for Sports, Manfred Nzekwe (in orange) and others without any member of Rangers management, Sportsyarnonline can report.

This development which is a far cry from the usual exciting way the past coaches were welcomed into the fold of club may see controversy take centre stage at the club ahead of the commencement of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Former Rangers coach, Salisu Yusuf, recently left the Enugu side to pitch tent with Kano Pillars before the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) re-assigned him to his former position as Super Eagles assistant coach last week.
