OFFICIAL: GFA Names Hughton As Black Stars Technical Adviser, Ahead Of Nigeria Clash

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the appointment of former Brighton and Hove Albion manager, Chris Hughton, the Technical Adviser to the newly constituted Black Stars Technical team led by Otto Addo.

Other members of the new Technical team include, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

The four man team has been put together to take charge of the two matches against rivals, Nigeria, in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Playoffs.

The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast stadium on March 24 before travelling to Nigeria for the 2nd leg at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Also, as part of preparations for the crucial two-legged fixtures, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), had on Monday announced the appointment of Coach Augustine Eguavoen, to handle the Super Eagles in interim capacity, while former Tanzania national team coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, was named assistant coach in the new Eagles coaching set-up.
