Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has described the non inclusion of Nigeria Professional Football League players in the 30-man Provisional list released recently by Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen, ahead of the World Cup qualifying Playoffs holding this month as a big slap to the development of the Nigeria Professional Football league (NPFL).

The Heartland goalkeeper who made this known as guest on Prime Sports Centre, a Breakfast sports programme which debuted on Prime Sports Radio on Saturday, hinted that such development will create a major problem if left to persist without solution.

While also speaking on his non-availability for the playoffs, Ezenwa disclosed that he is presently attending to his educational career as a final year Political Science student of the Imo State University.

He added that his reason for choosing to drop his football career for education at the moment is to ensure he has something to fall back on, whenever he retires from the sport.
