Former Abia state Governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has stepped efforts to give total support to the Super Eagles ahead of the 2022 World Cup second leg playoff against the Black Stars of Ghana at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29.

To this end, the African Pillar of Sports has purchased 5,000 tickets through his pet project, the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, to be given out to Nigerian soccer fans who would be interested in cheering the Eagles to victory.

Kalu, who represents Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, while disclosing this on Sunday through his official Facebook page said the tickets would be distributed at 3pm on Tuesday at the stadium’s entry point.

After the goalless draw in the first leg decided at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Friday, the Super Eagles now look.forward to a convincing win to be assured of the ticket to participate in this year’s tournament.

As a result, Nigerian soccer fans would be expected to fill the 60, 000 capacity Moshood Abiola Stadium to support the Eagles.

Already, buses have been provided to convey fans from different designated points in the Federal Capital territory on the day of the encounter to the stadium.
