Nigeria’s Super Eagles has moved up two places in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
Nigeria is now 30th from 32nd to rank 3rd in Africa while reigning African champions, Senegal, takes the continent’s top spot and 20th in the world with Morocco in second.
The Black Stars of Ghana who eliminated Nigeria from taking part in this year’s World Cup tournament in Qatar moved from 61st to 60th position.
Other countries in Africa’s top 10 position are Egypt (4th), Tunisia (5th) and Cameroon (6th).
Meanwhile, Brazil is the best team in the world as Belgium is second, France is third, Argentina in fourth, England (4th), and Italy in 5th.
