A new coach to take over the vacant coaching position in the Super Eagles is expected to be named next week Tuesday.
This was part of the resolutions reached at a meeting of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical and Development sub-committee put in place to recommend a new coach for the Super Eagles.
The sub-committee constituted earlier this week was given a 5-day mandate to carry out the assignment.
Kola Daniel, Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Youths and Sports Development dropped the hint while speaking on the popular Sports program, “Play Time”, on Prime Sports Radio, 104.9Fm, Enugu, on Thursday.
“The new coach of the Super Eagles will be made known next week Tuesday, all things being equal”.
“Already, the committee vested with responsibility to choose a coach and recommend to the Executive Committee of the NFF and sent to the Sports Ministry for deliberatiions concluded their work today (Thursday)”. “So, everyone is expectant and looking forward to next week”.
The new Eagles coach will be expected to hit the ground running by preparing the team ahead of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers which starts in June.
