Former Ivory Coast international, Didier Drogba, has continued to receive support from former African football legends as he bids to vie for the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF).

Egyptian legends, Essam El Hadary and Ahmed Hassan, have thrown their weight behind the former captain of Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire.

Hassan, a former Egyptian national team captain who featured in eight AFCON tournaments called for the involvement of all legends for the development of African football.

Drogba, is the latest among African soccer legends who will be having a shot at football’s top hierarchy on the continent after Samuel Eto’o had won the Cameroon FA presidential election last year.
