Nigeria’s Super Falcons played a 2-2 draw against their Canadian counterparts in the last game of a two-legged friendly decided at the Starlight Stadium in Langford on Tuesday morning.
The Falcons opened scoring in the 5th min of the first half through Ifeoma Onumunu before the host equalized through Canada forward, Christine Sinclair, in the 49th minutes.
Rasheedat Ajibade added Nigeria’s second on the night in the 54th minutes, but, Zardosky header in the 88th minute gave the North Americans the chance to level up at 2-2.
Nigeria had lost the first game played on Saturday at the BC Stadium in Vancouver 2-0.
The friendlies were part of preparation for the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Morocco later this year.
