Andrea Pirlo Unveiled As New Juventus Boss After Sarri’s Sacking

Frankie Omokhua   Italian Serie A side, Juventus, unveiled Andrea Pirlo as their new manager on a two-year deal - just hours after sacking Maurizio Sarri on Saturday. Juve chairman, Andrea Agnelli, chose midfield icon Pirlo as Sarri's successor and the final details on his contract were agreed to on Saturday. Pirlo was appointed as Juventus U-23 boss at the end of last month, but, has been promoted to the senior team hot seat just nine days later. The Italian giants confirmed the appointment with a statement on their official website, which read: "Andrea Pirlo is the new Juventus coach.
