Tokyo Olympics: FG Rewards Brume And Oborodudu’s Medal Winning Efforts With Dollar Rain

Frankie Omokhua Tokyo Olympic Games silver medalist, Blessing  Oborududu  and bronze medalist, Ese Brume, have received cash rewards which were promised by the Federal Government on Tuesday. At the award ceremony which took place at the Grand Prince Hotel on Tuesday in Tokyo, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, presented Oborodudu with a cash of $10,000 while Brume received $7500. In his speech at the ceremony, Dare said "There's no point  delaying the reinforcement of these athletes who have made the country proud. That's the reason why they were rewarded immediately for their record breaking   performance". COVID-19: IOC President, Thomas Bach, Is Hopeful Overseas Fans Will Be Able To Attend The Olympic Games Next Year

Frankie Omokhua International Olympic Committee president, Thomas Bach, has disclosed that Olympic Games organisers are still working to ensure that overseas spectators will be able to attend the event in Tokyo next summer after the Games were postponed by 12 months due to the coronavirus pandemic and now scheduled to get under way on July 23, 2021. Bach made this known during IOC's executive board meeting on Wednesday. “We are working on the basis there will be international spectators.
