WU20: Nigeria Wins Another Medal To Place 8th On The Medals Table At World Athletics U-20 Championships

Frankie Omokhua Team Nigeria made another podium appearance on Friday after winning a bronze medal in the Men’s Jevelin final on Day 3 of the ongoing World Athletics U-20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya. Chinecherem Nnamdi whose impressive throw of 78.02m in the semi final made him one of the favorites to win the event’s gold came third after a throw of 74.48m. The result made Nnamdi to become the first Nigerian to win a medal in the event at the championships.
